We collect the email address and basic profile information (name, profile picture) you provide when signing in via Google, Apple, or email magic-link. We also collect account and service data such as votes cast, poll interactions, follows, user-generated content you submit inside the service (including poll text, comments, suggestions, and uploaded media references), and moderation-related records needed to operate the service. When notification features are enabled, we also process notification-related identifiers and status information such as your account ID, push subscription or device identifiers, OneSignal identifiers, permission status, app runtime, and the last time a notification-enabled device was seen.
Your information is used to provide and improve the threeVote service, personalise your experience, authenticate your account, send transactional emails (magic-link login), deliver important product notifications, measure notification delivery and engagement, and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity.
We use OneSignal as our push notification service provider. When the OneSignal SDK is initialized in the app or website, OneSignal may process data such as session activity, app version, device model, operating system, language, timezone, country, push status, and notification open or click events. If your account is linked to a OneSignal user, we may also share your account ID and email address with OneSignal to associate notifications with your account. We use this data for app functionality and service analytics, not for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Your data is stored and processed using trusted service providers that help us operate the product, including Supabase for core application data and authentication, and OneSignal for notification delivery. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile data those providers share in accordance with their privacy policies. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
We use session cookies, browser local storage, and similar device storage to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and support notification permission flows. On the web, third-party notification tooling may also use local storage or IndexedDB for subscription and prompt state. These technologies are used for service functionality, not for advertising.
You can choose whether to receive push notifications. You can disable notifications in your device or browser settings, and you can stop using notification-linked features at any time. Disabling notifications does not delete your account, but it may prevent you from receiving timely updates about official polls, followers, or other account activity.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. You can delete your account and associated core app data directly from the in-app settings page. Notification delivery records and third-party notification provider data may be retained for a limited time according to operational and legal requirements.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us through our Support page.
